My friend, I think tiles are best for kitchen. They are long-lasting and easily cleaned. May be they seems outdated but they are the best.

Recently, a friend of mine got her floors re-done and she told me about Floors to Your Home. I have been considering adding new floor to my kitchen and having the tile removed. After she got her floors done, I started to feel like mine were outdated! Now I just need to decide on hardwood or laminate. Has anyone used that company?
