I am currently opening up a tile and hardwood flooring business and I am not sure exactly how to charge. I was thinking $1/ft per coat which would be a $1/ft for sanding, one coat of sealer and two coats of poly. That would be a total of $4/ft  and have heard people doing it for $2/ft which puts me at double the price. Can someone tell me if im close or how I go about figuring a good price for refinishing hardwood floors? I do have 8 years experience doing the work but not on bidding jobs for a refinish. Thanks for any help.
